    Coralgraph Mugs

    Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has an "acceptable" level of rejects in the mugs qtys they buy?

I'm still small scale and only buy 36/72 at a time. But I've had about 6-7 in the last box of 36 from CoralGraph that were just unacceptable and basically got put to the side as testers.

Little pin pricks in the glazing, caving in certain areas, some yellowing/thin spots in the glaze. One even had a chip but it was glazed, so it obviously got past quality control and made it through to the finishing.

I've had a few boxes from CoralGraph and the first lot were pretty much bang on, maybe 1 in the box was dodgy.

Before I contact them and ask what's happening I don't know if there's an industry expected amount of duds per carton? The quality of the mugs that are good I'm very happy with so don't really want to change supplier.

    Cheers,
    Matt.

Yes, my acceptable level is zero. If I pay for 36 mugs I want 36 perfect mugs, why would I settle for less? This is why I always use XP5103, never had a reject to date.

Apologies for the delay in replying. I kind of thought that may be the answer (it's the one I hoped for to be honest).

I'll bring this up with them and see what they say. I'm using the 11oz Rhino Wycombe Mugs. Great mug, when they're as they should be!
