Now that you've all got mugs, is Royal Mail going to deliver them on time?!

Don't even go there. I've got 40 orders sent out Thursday 48 Tracked that are still showing on track and trace as being sat in the delivery office I dropped them off at. meanwhile, I have customers bending my ear on a daily basis. It's a complete shambles and I don't even know if I have the energy to pursue the claims process.
I just want this to be over with now!

This is Royal Mails update today. Seems to be that it will be a Russian roulette of postage makes it on time.

I've had multiple cancelled orders today after giving customers the option based on the information given.

Our RM collections guy (well one of them - we had 5 collections today) said that the depot at Darlington did three times its normal capacity yesterday/last night.

We’ve not had too many issues with Royal Mail. Out of everything we sell, the large letters seem to be taking the longest to arrive.

We have upgraded everything to 1st class now just to be safe but I would say there is a 1 week delay at the moment sending 2nd class Large Letter.
I think the Royal Mail backlog being in the news last week has started to put people off ordering for Christmas.

Keeping up with the 'Where is my item?' emails is a nightmare!
