Woke up to countless emails this morning asking where parcels are.

My daughter has had exactly the same problems with Royal Mail lately, so it's not just Hermes. She now sends nothing out on a Monday as most of the missing parcel queries stem from orders posted that day. We think it's probably because they can't cope with the huge volumes from the weekends.

I used to work as a Hermes courier for 11 years, 6 days a week, and believe me the management are piss-poor. There are always huge backlogs at Christmas. Just be thankful it's not snowing!

If I know somebody sends things by Hermes I will not buy from them as in our area they are horrendous. Alas a supplier switched to Hermes without me knowing. This was Hermes proof of delivery, and no it hadn't been delivered and yes we were in.

Yeah, although I worked for them I've never in my life sent anything by Hermes, and never will. Yodel are just as bad.
