Acceptable amount of damaged mugs ?

In a box of lets say 36 mugs what is the amount of damaged mugs you will ignore before you have had enough and email the suppliers to rectify the issue?

    Thanks

As I purchase from the same supplier I have a set up with them in that damaged mugs are put in a box, once the box is full I email them and tell them I have a full box of damages and they will add a free box to my next order.

I always take photos of each tray and a video of me throwing the mugs away so that there is no "tom foolereee" :-)

Anything I deem unprintable is put into a reject box and the supplier receives an email 3 months later to arrange collection of the mugs. There are only two suppliers who are decent enough to do this though. I would be reluctant to shop elsewhere.

I have 8 broken mugs from my last order and 4 from the one before.

I used to just ignore the odd one or two but not anymore.
I now have a box full of broken mugs since November so when I make my next order (new year) I will be asking for a replacement box.

My last order had a big footprint on the box and a huge dent in the cardboard so I wasn’t surprised to find 8 broken.
Keep all broken mugs and tell the supplier and if they don’t replace then it’s time to move supplier I’m afraid.

Signzworld did this to me so I ditched them and will never order mugs from them again.

That's a great idea of putting the rejects aside and asking for a replacement box! I shall be phoning up and seeing if I can do a similar thing.

Unless your supplier states all damages must be reported within 24 hours. How are you supposed to check a pallet of mugs in that time lol!
