I think I may have to do the same. I have a feeling my inbox will be getting hammered in a week or so....

I turned all platforms off...almost. I left some things on Etsy with orange and green rims as I have a few too many of them. I have never sold so many. One way to run down the overstock.

    You have my sympathy.
After nearly 30 years in retail I grew to detest the general public, which is why walked away and started a printing business.
Much happier now, only dealing with business and volume customers. I have no interest in retail one off personalisation, and wouldn't go near any of the online car boot sales such as ebay.

    eBay customers are the worst.
If they order something they want it next day and for pennies.
Rude arrogant and complain about anything.

Etsy is another ball game altogether.
Customers expect it quick but seem to be more patient and are mostly polite with an odd exception.

I found eBay has changed dramatically since the ability to leave anything other than positive feedback for customers.
How can you rate a customer if you can’t be honest.??
yet they can slate you all day long its just gone to s**t.

Any hint of a 'Karen' asking 'why hasn't my order been shipped yet?', or 'need this urgently' gets a cancelled order notification in their inbox. It has been very theraputic.

I had somebody say in a review that it was "slow despatch".

It was a personalised mug, ordered on Sunday night and made Monday. Despatched on Tuesday and with them for Wednesday and they paid £3 delivery.

Since having to deal with it myself I am much more understanding when I buy stuff now!

Amazon have given people instant delivery of items . It's what people now seem to expect constantly.
It's not as easy as that if your making to order and then relying on a 3rd party to deliver the item.
I've now come to notice that the customer seems to not understand that the delivery is not your responsibility and if it's late your the root cause .

It's because the law in the UK says the sender is responsible until it arrives.
There are plenty of dimwits who think that law creates both reality, and right and wrong, so they use it.
