Ink tech Sublinova icc profile is not working , Advice pls

Guys I really dont know why I am so unlucky with icc profiles .I used to have some Chinese ink for over 5 years with a 1500W and colours where great with default profiles .But I tried Epson 7800 and P800 with them and default profiles never worked .So tried 3 custom made icc profiles for 7800 (2 from a guy from this forum ) and I was never happy with any of them Profiles made, were never that good as my 1500W with chinease ink. Ive made a custom icc for my P800 again recently and its not that good too (too dark prints colours are brownish) .
Now I have Sublinova ink tech from Ink express(My Chinese inks are expired and colours turned bad so thought to give a ago with sublinova again ) .Using on my 1500W with their sublimation paper profiled for ink tech ink ..Results should be perfect as I am using their ink, profile and paper but I am not happy about the prints as they seem really dark .If I lighten the images up a bit they work with metal plates tho I cant complain cushion cover prints look so dull .
I really dont know what to do as I have bought 4 colour profiles in different times for different inks and tried with their instructions ,none really work, and ppl made them seem not that helpful as they think their profiles should work and I was doing something wrong . Ink tech profile from Ink express is not perfect either and now I don't really know who to go for help ..
I want my Epson P800 and 1500W both to work with ink tech ink ..Please advice guys how can I get my profiles perfect

    What software are you using?
Did you use the correct settings when you printed the charts?

I’m going to go out on a limb and say user error. (Missed setting)
that many profiles giving poor results can’t be right.

    Are you using photoshop.

Yes Photo shop CS 5, I have followed all the instructions disabled the .icc etc .Also when printing the charts followed the instructions etc ...I normally use Matt photo paper and quality option so when printed the charts used the same settings .(Basically followed the instructions ) . Beginning I was suspecting the monitor so printed using 2-3 pcs and even with laptops to see if there is a difference but nothing much of a difference.

We use(d) sublinova ink in 1500, P800 and 7800 and all required custom icc profiles using the large set of swatches. All done by inkexperts and all perfect but cannot use one profile on all. Free default profiles never good enough. So if you do get profile done for your setup ensure you pay for large swatch set rather than small.

I've often had to up the brightness by 20 to 40 units in Photoshop to compensate for dark prints, whereas some print perfectly without adjustment.

Did you use the Adobe Print Utility to print off your test charts?

Your older version of Photoshop may have had the ability to turn off colour management, whereas, newer versions cannot. You have double profiled and everything is now a disaster.

In cs5 You can't turn colour management off so printing without profiling isn't possible. So as Gent ^ upstairs mentioned. You will get double profiling disaster.
Also I will add, that if you had lerddct colours with default profile is just a luck in my opinion.

Yeah. You could turn it off in CS4 but the option was removed in CS5. In typical Adobe fashion they brought out the Adobe Color Printer Utility to compensate for this, but stupidly it only works with TIFF files. Go figure!
