    White lines on Ricoh

    Hi,

I posted on here a few weeks ago as my Ricoh 3110 was ghosting. I’ve had I get my old 3110 out as I can’t fix it. I’m now having problems with this one. I’ve printed out full colour test pages. Black and yellow are fine, slight banding on magenta but cyan has white stripes at the bottom in the same place every time. I’ve tried everything I can think of, watched loads of YouTube videos and nothing seems to help it. I’m at a loss and have been closed all week due to both printers failing. I’m fine with buying a new Ricoh/sawgrass but someone told me that you can only print from their creative studio software and not photoshop etc

    Ricoh 3110 with sawgrass ink

Any help will be much appreciated.
    Thank you C815E99A-71FA-46CA-A949-7D7F52D51F14.jpg397B557A-82B0-4176-8F18-57C90E165FD2.jpg

Why don’t you go for an epson ecotank?
    far more reliable and cheaper.

Don’t get me wrong Epson’s have issues too but far cheaper to replace.

What do your nozzle check prints look like? Could you print one out and post an image?

Just tried another head flush and test pages and it’s still the same. I really can’t afford another week off

There's very little you can do by yourself. Maybe try giving the encoder strip a gentle wipe over, that sometimes helps. Don't use any chemicals or abrasives on it though!

What are your paper feed settings? Make sure they're not set to fast.
