I have used hot flex for a few years without issue.
is it not sticking where you have a seam or hem?

I had this once then realised I needed a Teflon pillow no problem seams since.

it seems to be in the middle of the t-shirt so no seam or hem I'm pressing at 160c for 15 seconds but when I go to hot peel doesn't always release of the clear backing is the settings hot enough do you think

Might be your press isn’t quite 160 tap it up a smidge and try 20 seconds.
mdp instructions aren’t the best and are a rough guide rather than gospel fact if you get what I mean?

Does this happen with all colours, or just with some?
On occasions I have had the same problem. I put it down to someone in the MDP warehouse picking MDP Flex ( cold peel) instead of hotflex. When I cold peel it always works ok.

it could be that as haven't had a problem with certain colours but the last few t-shirts I have done I haven't used the colours before and and just won't peel when hot I will try a few more and experiment with temp and cold peel.

Hello, it's an old post but i will answer for archives or public resolution/answer.

I do not encounter any problems using SEF flexcut, i use 165c for 20 seconds with a teflon sheet, i peel hot, and then press again 5 seconds with the teflon sheet.
The result is ok, but (a small but) the flex looks a bit fade, maybe i press too much. I prefer pressing slower than recommended because it looks more resistant and well integrated into the cotton.

The recommended by the brand :
    > Transfer Temperature: 165°C (330°F)
    > Transfer Time: 17 seconds
    > Pressure: Medium
    > High Hot peel
