    Attachment for aluminium sports bottles

For the life of me I can't find the answer to this on Google! Which attachment do I need to press 600ml aluminium sports bottles? Is 400ml the same too?

    Need a bit more info.

    what press you using?
different bottles are different diameters which require different blankets.

my mdp press requires an element b, c, & d for the different sizes of mugs and bottles.

    400ml bottles are 65mm (mdp element b)
    600ml bottles are 72mm (mdp element d)

Mdp elements won’t work in a different press so don’t buy one that’s not designed for your press.

Thanks, I just have this one... https://www.inkexperts.co.uk/product...ating-element/

It comes with the 10/11oz element and I can buy 6oz, 12oz and 17oz elements. But when I look for the aluminium sports bottles, specifically the 600ml ones, it doesn't say which element I need to use. Or maybe there's another one?

We use a regular mug press element for the metal water bottles although of course you cannot print top to bottom but only as much as a regular mug. This is on an Adkins press and we set to 170c and 60s.

Thank you. Sorry, just to double check, by regular you mean the 10/11oz element (or similar in your press)?

Yes, the regular 10/11oz BUT depends on the size of your water bottle of course.

Measure the bottle carefully around the circumference and then ask Ink Experts if their press will close to that width.

Listawood quote 72 mm for their bottles but I don't know how adjustable those presses are.

Thanks. Gave it a go last night with these aluminium bottles and it wasn't exactly a success. All user error I'm sure.

The aluminium bottles don’t take as long as say mugs.
I have the timing and temp somewhere but it’s not long.
