Head Dragging Across Page On Epson L805

Hi guys, I'm printing 6 9x9cm coasters per A4 sheet. At the top and bottom of the page I'm getting scuffs where the paper curls up a little once printed and clips the print head. Attached a picture of the problem. I'm using/tried:

    Ink Experts Style paper
    Set High Speed to 'off'
    Checked the 'thick card' option
Paper settings on 'Epson Matte' and printing Best quality

It only really happens on full coverage designs, which is understandable.
Has this happened to anyone else? I'm getting round the problem by printing 4 coasters per sheet and moved them more central on the page. Is this the only option I have?

    Cheers
    Matt

I have an L805 and had this problem with several papers including "S-Race" and, so far as I recall, "Style". It was resolved by using InkExperts "Versa"paper as it does not curl. I use this for fabric as well as hard surfaces

The only time I got a problem with "Versa" was when a batch had been very slightly damaged in transit leaving a tiny bend on one corner which I was unable to flatten. I was able to resolve this by chopping the corner off as mine are not full coverage.

Thanks a lot for your reply Ray, very helpful!

I got some sample sheets of Versa paper when i bought the printer so will give that a go next time i need to do coasters.
Other than this curling problem, i'm very happy with the printer so far.

    Cheers
    Matt
