What issue's? Had a scratch on heat press before and just sanded it down so nice and smooth with no problems. Is it very deep?

Hi Andrew, it's rather deep, and I should have said its more of a flake missing than a simple light scratch.
I found this, i don't know if it's good for the press though?

If it no longer can give an even print a silicone sheet sounds like the next option. Would it needs to be around 2 mm but trial and error will tell. Will need to fiddle with times as well.

Thanks so much for your suggestion! Is the Teflon protector I linked likely of no use?
Regarding the times used, I know its variable but do you think they would need to be signicantly longer, and would the heat need to be increased at all? Thanks.
Teflon is likely to be to thin to help take out any indentation. Something slightly thicker will hopefully help and will spread the heat slower so instead of 60 seconds i would try 80. It is trial and error unfortunately.

Silicon mat seems to fix it :)
Glad you got it working again.
