Your on the latest woo version I assume?
it’s going to be an issue with woo not talking to c&d but you won’t get a response from rm.

Not wanting to drift off topic slightly but...
.how do you get on with WooCommerce? I was looking for a programmer to do some work as I'm thinking about changing platforms, one guy recommended I changed to Woo as he said it is far more flexible.

Personaly I have two sites running woo and it’s great.
Really easy to customise and there are thousands of plug-ins available most free.
I have been using woo for around 3 years and can say it’s far easier to use than opencart which I was using since I started back in 2009 ish.
Pretty sure ink experts are running woocommerce too as are many others.
Try it out Justin you won’t be disappointed.

Woo and Wordpress are incredibly powerful tools, you can have as easy or complicated site as you want really.
I would recommend looking at Divi from Elegant Themes if you want a WYSIWYG page builder to make design of the pages easy, and not be stuck-tied to a rigid theme.

Back on topic ... we don't use any additional plugins for the tracking side of things - C&D uploads the tracking as a note to customer (standard part of Woo), and then the website emails this to the customer.
We do have to use WP-SMTP plugin for any emails the website needs to send, not just the RM ones.
Not all WP sites need an SMTP plugin, it depends on the server set up.
If C&D is syncing you will see the notes to customer in the order details page

I've been using Wordpress/ WooCommerce for nearly 15 years. I used to dread updating plugins because usually something broke the website. But in recent years, it has been very stable. One recent update changed the layout of my theme which annoyed me a bit, but I'd give it 8 out of 10. Spend 50 dollars on a nice theme, download the essential free security plugins and you will have a professional stable website. Using stripe for the payment.

My next question is your definitely using https?
Yes. I noticed that one of the websites had an old user admin email address. There are two places to change admin emails! So I've set up the WP-SMTP plugin on the quiet site to test it out as pisquee recommended. Hopefully some sales will come in over the weekend and I'll see if it works.
The busier site may just need that email plugin too....
