    WooCommerce Royal Mail Tracking

I have a site using WooCommerce which intregrates with Click & Drop. Orders are pulled into C&D ok, but I can't get the tracking numbers back into WooCommerce.

I've read the various set up guides and RM are supposed to send the tracking back to WooCommerce Order Notes in the dashboard. They are also supposed to email customers within C&D. But my website doesn't which is very frustrating. I don't want to have to manually input tracking numbers, so was wondering what methods, or other software are people using to send email tracking numbers to customers?

I've read reviews about ShipStation and people saying that it just isn't set up for the UK market and doesn't communicate Royal Mail tracking numbers. So not sure what software will automatically email customers directly with tracking numbers...because I'm really going to miss people asking me for tracking every day!

I have to enter RM tracking number manually in my Ecwid site, but I do this after printing the labels and scanning them with my handheld barcode scanner.

    Mine is all integrated.
    click and drop and Hermes.

I have got a few plug-ins though which send tracking info and updates via email and sms.
I’ll grab the names and let you know what it is but that sends the data from c&d to the tracking app.

The tracking app is called. Advanced shipment tracking.

Also on the Royal Mail side have you enabled the api to send data to your woocommerce store (marks orders as shipped etc)

C&D working for us - adds a note to customer with the tracking details, does this through an API - have you got this set up in WooCommerce/Settings/Rest API?
Is you website set up to send emails with an SMTP plugin?

I have that app. I put a request in to them last month to get C&D tracking information automatically pulled into WooCommerce with an email to the customer. Which they actually implemented a few days ago via their pro version! But since I can't get the tracking info from C&D into the WoCommerce order notes, I'm not sure if this will actually work.

I have all those settings in place, but no luck. What structure are your permalinks in WooCommerce?

Yes the Rest API is set up as read/ write for the admin of the site.

I'll try your suggestion using a SMTP plugin, but I still think my issue starts with the Order Notes issue. I assume that everyone's website is displaying the tracking in there first?

Common is set as post name
Product permalinks are set as custom - I have “product/“

Have you tried deleting the c&d intergration and then re adding it?

Some plug-ins I think are a must have also.

Wordfence - firewall and malicious login protection. (And more)

All-in-one wp migration. - back up your whole site and download it to your pc.
Just to say aio has saved my backside a few times. I moved servers once and just restored the backup to the fresh install and it was effortless.

I read that as long as the permalinks are not set to plain, it should work. I've tried re-integrating with C&D twice and on both of my sites. Both have Let's Encrypt as the https. I'm at a loss.
