Personally I would do the essential cleaning routine and head cleans etc, then if it doesn’t resolve it I would call Roland up and ask them what you can do as they are really helpful on the phone.
if all else fails they can arrange an engineer for you and rectify it.

You have got cyan ink in the box?
if you remove it and shake it can you hear it sloshing around?

I spoke to a rep from Roland they said based on the images and information I have provided they are 99.9% certain it is the printhead which is unfortunate and has now set me back. Any idea of where I can sell a BN-20 for a sensible price a brand new one is over 5k.

Only if xpres can’t help and you get nowhere with Roland.

Give it a good soak with ipa you have nothing to lose if the head is dead.
wet J cloth in ipa and place under the head ensuring it’s making contact.

I have just recovered a cannon print head using ipa gave it a good soak for an hour then mixed the following.
    50ml hot water
    2 drops of fairly liquid
    100ml of 99.9% ipa

Connected a syringe to print head with 4mm and 10mm tubing and slowly forced solution through the print head until clear.
now it prints like new with perfect nozzle check.
