    St3042 mugs

I got the st3042 from signzworld as I want todo top to bottom images and get slightly closer to the handles

When I followed the suggested times and temps the mugs came out so pale

After playing about, if I go 200 for 12 minutes for 2 mugs. I wrap lay on their side and rotate after 6 minutes this way the image seems perfect.. but that’s significantly hotter and longer than the manual suggests.. is this just a quirk of this machine?

I also assume if I put 6 in it will need a bit longer?

Yes, it seems to work well. I use 13 mins with a flip over inbetween and also find this works better then having the cups upright. This also works well for the metal type flasks. I add 30 sec onto the time for each cup multiple, so 13½ mins for two cups, 14 mins for 3 etc. this allows for the temp drop while flipping the cups.

in addition to this I also use silicon bands at top and bottom to keep the wrap snug and tight.
