Drilling Holes for Standoffs in Chromaluxe

Has anyone got a great process for drilling or dye punching holes on Chromaluxe. Would love to hear your successes and what equipment you would recommend. Concerned about chipping.

I used to make clock faces in this material and always used 'Step' drill bits to drill the holes for the clock movements. I used a drill stand with my power drill and the Step drill bit allowed me to drill other sizes for other projects without needing to change the bit every time.

Do you do enough to invest in a punch?
If you send them a sample/offcut they will do a test cut tocheck suitability.

We have punches for metal and leather, and find drilling gives much better results for both materials
