    ICC Profiles

    Evening all,

Just wondered what are peoples thoughts on ICC profiles, I have an Epson ET14000 and wondered if they made any difference to the print quality when sublimating mugs.

    Thanks

    Martyn

ICC profiles will always make a difference provided they have been created specifically for your inks, paper and system.

Esential for printing photos or other non editable images. Also needed when printing one off/low run items to ensure an acceptable quality without doing a test print.
Spot colours from vector artwork I prefer to not use a profile. Pick each colour from a colour chart that I have made and print in 'Epson Vivid' with the saturation wacked up. Get really rich blacks and good control over the colours.
