    Ricoh 3110 error codes 20200 & 20800

    Hi, hope someone can help

I am currently getting the above codes upon booting up the machine (ricoh 3110dn), this is after a new ink collector has been installed.

I am now getting the 20800 which I believe is a general fault.
I have been getting a clogged magenta nozzle for a while which means constant cleaning of the black/magenta head, I have been advised to clean the capping station and have put a little hot water onto the sponge (ive done this about 4 or 5 times now) water is now seeping through the system which wasnt before which I believe has unclogged any blockages, after booting up I am still getting the same error?

Has anyone else had this problem before at all?
    Inks are from Ink express

I have the SG3110DN Service Manual (pdf, with all the error codes) on my webhost. Drop me a PM if you'd like the link to download it.

Thank you very much for that, really appreciate it!
Hopefully I can fix it, otherwise I need a new sub printer.

Still getting error 28000, says it an air sensor problem, just wondering whether to get a new set of carts as a last resort as they arent seatign properly in the printer, i have had to tape them in as they are popping out?

Well I have some good news about my ricoh 3110!

I was getting the air sensor error (sc 28000) but tonight I'd thought I'd try something different. I decided to slap some tape over the refillable carts as they weren't seating properly in the ricoh as they kept popping out, these are the refillable carts from ink express.

What I did was to tape both the black and cyan carts together and then the red and yellow together (so all sets were sat solid in the printers ink unit) and tape them both to the printers chassis on the inside and outside, low and behold it's now fired up, printer has loaded the ink (5 minutes) and I'm printing as we speak, I thought I'd won the lottery when the bugger fired up!

I have a backlog of orders which I can now manage to get through!
Glad I tried it tonight as it was destined to be scrapped!
