It’s that time again xpres are out of mugs.

Having to resort to mdp again for my mugs then an email from LW about their duraglaze mugs comes in.

I think we need a sticky post with mug ratings. 1= best overall 10= worst overall.
where would you say listawood and others come into the chart here?

I'd put Raja near the top in terms of quality and stock holding
Can't remember if we've ordered from Neil Bros for mugs before, but they'd be another to try when other sellers out of stock

Raja, manufacturer of mugs and other ceramic items. Multinational company, Euro HQ in England. Own their own ceramic factories in Thailand.
So, they are making the mugs, coating them, and importing to UK all themselves, rather than buying in whatever cheap mugs they can source and just coating them.

E2A - just looked at the website and seems they are now in Netherlands for Euro HQ - I assume they still have their UK warehouse though.

I used Listawood for the first time this year. The quality was highly variable (the coating varied in colour from white to off-white through over a dozen or so pallet loads). Lots of minor imperfections, black spots under the glaze/coating and every box contained endless amount of small flecks of cardboard, poor packaging (compared to NB) and so numerous broken/chipped mugs. On reflection I would never use Listawood again.

I ended up getting additional stock from Neil Brothers (much better quality than the Listawood mugs).

Xpres prices going up in 2022 and been told that 5013 will now be £42.90 a box. With DSF discount they will then be £1.07 a mug EEK!

If that’s the case then I won’t be buying many of those.
