Sorry, I'm a bit of a novice in this area
I'm helping a friend out with invites and doing this as a gift as I mainly do wedding stationery but only really use digital foil.
She is looking for hot foil press and this is a new area to me, I have the machines but only with assembley letters and never a full design plate.
I'm trying to find some UK suppliers who can either create the plate (a6 design) or if there is some other way to create this.
I remember in art school these were created using UV machines but never looked into it further

I can also personally recommend Profoil (they supply foil too) and Centurion Graphics.
Generally they will need the plate (foil) artwork as follows:
- Black design on white background AT EXACT SIZE required.- Foil elements only.
- CMYK colour mode with all colour values at 0 except black - C0% M0% Y0% K100%
- Vector-based PDF - raster (pixel-based) artwork doesn't play nicely and will generally be refused.
