    Sublimation Marker Pen on Coaster

    Hi

Get the occasional white spot on my coasters (think spec of dirt/dust got in). Getting a bit of a pile of them now and saw the Artesprix Sublimation Marker Pen on Xpres site

Any one tried to touch up coasters with marker pens?

    Thanks

Surely you would of already pressed the coaster in order to see dust spot thus using pen and repressing isn't going to work. Also just improve your process. We go on 5% wastage so normally 3-5 coasters per 100 we fail to spot dust and thus don't pass quality control so sadly normal for some to become seconds.

Yeah probably get about that but was trying to see if we could convert the seconds into something more saleable. It's literally a white dot about 1/2mm so thought the pen may be able to save them.

I brush each coaster prior to placing on the paper and remove paper from printer after each print run. Anything else you do?

Nope. Brush paper with hand, wipe coaster and place on paper.
