Ricoh SG 3110dn Windows 11 driver

Hi ... i recently moved up to Windows 11. Most of my gear works fine including my Ricoh SG 2100n printer. However despite there being Windows 11 drivers available for the SG 3110dn on the Ricoh website i cannot get it to work. The driver installation fails every time. Tried different USB slots and cables etc and even Windows 10 drivers. Works 100% using my old Windows 10 but not 11. Anyone else have problems with Windows 11 and this printer ? .. thanks

Stopped using Sawgrass a while back. I use third party inks now. Not sure why the Ricoh Win 11 drivers don't work. Ill have to contact Ricoh and ask their technical section ... thanks

Have you tried running the driver installer, set as run as administrator?

Yes just tried that ... still won't find the printer. Hook it up to my laptop Windows 10 Pro and all is well ... finds the printer driver immediately ..

Often it's best to stick with Windows systems that work for you. It's daft upgrading just for the sake of it. I have devices that still work great in XP or Win7 but not on Win10 (I've no immediate intentions of 'upgrading' to Win11 yet, or ever!).

Am I being paranoid, or does the existing version of Windows always start playing up when a new version is introduced?

Yeah. It was better 'back in the old days' (pre-Win10) when you could stop automatic Windows updates, but now they've got us well and truly cornered.

Annoying when you have older software and drivers.
