Strange marks with a certain colour shade.

Out of the blue my SG400 printer has started putting strange marks that cover the entire surface of my prints when using a light shade of grey. The image below is a close-up of a portion of a PU leather sublimated mousepad and as you can see the surface is covered with speckly white lines.

I have not changed any of my printer (SG400) or paper (A-Sub)/pressing settings, and other prints using different colours/shades seem to be printing out perfectly. I've tried three head cleans and even a head flush to no avail.

Are you sure it's not the humidity causing it on paper or the mouse pad?
Pre press the mouse pad for 20 seconds then apply the image?

    Thanks for the reply.

No. I always pre-press for 10 seconds and I also dry the freshly printed sublimation paper for about 40 seconds under an open press. I've been pressing this particular image with the same paper and same substrate for the past 12 months in the exact same way and today it the first time this problem has cropped up. All my other mousepad images (so far!) have been fine. It just seems that there's something weird happening because of this colour combination all of a sudden.
