been playing with MDP mug press....wanted to print some plain black text, set temp & time both to 185. put mug in closed handle, temperature went down to 169 then took around 35 secs to climb back up to 185 at which time the timer began to count down, took mug out when counter reached zero. so 185 + 35 = 220 total ....and the black came out looking green with blurry edges, which according to instructions and forum posts indicate an undercooked mug......(needs more time in press)
wanting to experiment i bought the press back up to temperature (185) and this time started the countdown manually (again 185 secs), at the end of 185 secs took mug out expecting to see more green being very undercooked, but to my surprise .....it was black with nice sharp edges .... beggars belief and defies logic ..... maybe I'm colour blind and it was brown
but im not and it was definitely green......... im going to ignore the timer from now on and do it manually 185 for 185 = perfect
