    Buying budget laptop

    Hi, guys.

I am on a tight budget for laptop and saw review of HP 14-fq1025nr (these guys praised it a lot - https://streammentor.com/best-gaming-laptop-under-600).

Do you think it will be of use for any complicated tasks? Will it be enough for Photoshop and video editing?

Good enough, but a lot will depend how many programs you want open at the same time. If you want to run photoshop, video software, vector software and a printer RIPall at once then it might slow up a bit.

The 256 SSD will be nice and fast, but you might want some external storage if you have a lot of large files.

I would recommend a larger 15.2" screen. 14 " can be annoyingly small for image editing.

Check that all of your software will work with Windows 11.

    Budget Laptop

My wife has just bought a Lenovo ThinkBook 15 15.6 inch (512GB, Intel Core i7 11th Gen., 2.8GHz, 16GB) it's nearly new and one of several for sale on eBay. Incidentally, I've had several laptops and other items from eBay and never encountered a serious problem.

Yes, you are right. 14 inches is too small.

    Thanks for input.

Another good experience with refurbished here. Got an i7 with 8gb ram for les than 350 USD. Working 2 years without issues. Just do a thorough check on the seller's reviews
