Siser EasyColor DTV Direct to Vinyl

I understand that there is a new Siser product on the market called Siser EasyColor DTV Direct to Vinyl.
I have just heard of this product and wonder if anyone else has heard of this and could tell me if it is available to purchase in the UK as I can only see references online to the USA?

I was given a couple of sheets and to be honest thought it was a bit mickey mouse.

Great if you are just starting out as it limits what you need to create full colour designs, but not the best garment decorating method I have seen.

I am currently testing a DTF set up that will be cheap to market and I think a much better solution

Thank you so much for your quick and helpful reply- I am very interested in your news that you are just testing DTF set up and that it will be cheap to market and that you feel may be a much better solution.
Do you think that you may be able to let me know what you ultimately find once you have completed your testing please.
    All the best

Of course, all the details will be posted on the DSF. The supplier I am working with is hoping for a launch in October

There are several forms of inkjet vinyl on the market, as an alternative to solvent vinyl, but none are very successful. I looked into several of them as an alternative to buying a solvent printer, but they didn't fit the bill. Maybe the new Siser one will be better....

The biggest draw back has always been wash durability. Usually ok for short term use - stag and hen, promotions etc - but don't really stand up to repeated washing. There is often a requirement not to wash the product for 24 hours after pressing.

Another problem is colour reproduction. Some require that you print with a plain paper setting, which automatically knocks the colours back slightly. Even with a good profile colours are not perfect.

If you have a market for this product then give it a go. Just beware if you are selling retail product or workwear. After a few washes you will get complaints.

As socialgiraffe said - dtf will be the way to go, sooner or later and if you can use it everyday.
