I did consider it but walked away. I think it will go through too many printheads to be cost effective - Mimaki only offer a 12 month warranty and charge a massive £5K price premium with their DTF version of the CJV for a reason....

TBH there are people out there selling 60cm printed sheets at £10 - £12 per linear metre, on short print runs. Let them take the hurt of running a machine. Even if you need large size prints that still only works out at £2 per shirt for the transfer.
I find it time consuming enough cutting the gang sheets down to individual transfers so the last thing I want is the added time and aggravation of running a machine and shaker.
