What were the overall thoughts on these AAA Orca Mugs then? Is it worth paying the extra for the 'premium' xpres mugs or is everyone now using the orca coated ones?

We stopped using the AAA from Xpres completely I'm afraid. Every delivery we had substantial damages, even after the packaging was improved. Most of this was down to DPD I have little doubt, I walked round the corner to see them drop a box of mugs to the floor on one occasion.

I appreciate Xpres refund the damaged mugs but having to check every mug upon delivery and send photo evidence is far too time consuming. My biggest issue is that they wouldn't replace the complete box, just the clearly damaged mugs. We've had to replace so many mugs that have arrived with the customer and the handle has fallen off, this is no doubt due to hairline cracks that aren't seen until it's too late.

We changed to another supplier for similar mugs, DPD dropped a box as usual but the new supplier replaced next day without hesitation.

I would still recommend the XP5013 as the best available mug but as prices have shot up over the years it just isn't sustainable when the other mugs are perfectly 'good enough'

We have moved over to 11oz now to keep costs down. Last order was Dye Sub Supplies but haven't needed any in a while.

Ok good to know. Just placed a huge order with them today oddly. Seems like everyone else is out of stock of our essential stock apart from them - although a lot more money. Will add a box of mugs onto next order with them. Cheers.

Okay thanks! Yeah, we don't order that many mugs but I must admit checking every box after each delivery is a real pain and time waster. I have a mdp supplies not too far from me which sell the AAA mugs, are these the same that xpres sell? Happy to collect stock if it means less damages during transit.

All of the AAA mugs are pretty much the same from different suppliers, usually just the packaging that changes.

I found that when XPRES sent me a sample mug it gave identical results to Signzworld AAA mugs

The forum discount code is no longer valid for the Xpres Orca 11oz mugs.
