    Posting Coasters

Just looking at the massive Royal Mail price hikes due on the 7th April. I often send out samples of single Unisub coasters, but was wondering does anyone send these out as letter rate? Or do you play it safe and send them as large letters?

A large letter will be £3.15 for first class. £2.50 at present.

Send them from China. It will be subsidised by Royal Mail.

Yes I have some C5 board backed envelopes, but the coaster wouldn't go through 'freely'. The postmaster gets into trouble with Royal Mail if they accept them. Maybe try the postbox instead.

I’ve used board backed envelopes in the past but had quite a few that weren’t delivered due to insufficient postage. I changed to simple poly bags now and they go through as letters without any problems and I’ve not had any complaints about them.

    What about Amazon Shipping?
Never used it and I don't know the prices but I see they are now offering shipping to businesses who don't trade on the Amazon platform.
