Alex.
That's great. Thanks, Alex!
I just placed an order online for some mugs, but even though I put in the right code it changed during payment to the standard 2.5% online discount.
Will I still get my 10% off?
Hi,
Thanks for pointing this out, we will have a look into your order to see why the discount has not been applied online.
I will make sure that you get the full 10% off this order.
If you need anything else in the mean time, please feel free to contact me, my direct line is 01485 529715.
Thanks
Becki
Thank-you, Becki, that will be great.
I'll be ordering some more over the next couple of days. I just need to get money in the right place first (customer pays me by PayPal, so I have to shift it through the bank account to the credit card before I can buy from you. Pain, but the mugs are worth it!).
Hi,
Thanks for helping me get to the bottom of this. The code wasn't storing if an order was amended after the discount code had been entered. We have changed the way that the site functions to make sure that the code is stored for the duration of your visit to the website.
Hope this helps.
Thanks again,
Becki
Nice to talk to a friendly voice on the phone.
Thanks for getting this sorted so quickly, Becki.

brett
I wouldn't have thought so Brett. If you give Becki a call on the number above she'll get it sorted for you.
Alex.
VAT Calculation on Web Orders???
I'm not sure that your website is calculating VAT correctly for orders that are placed with the DSF discount of 10% which may give rise to all orders being overcharged.
As an example, a £1000 order (ex vat) would be discounted to £900. The VAT therefore would be calculated at 20% of £900, i.e. £180 giving a total cost of £1080 inc vat.
The website however is deducting the 10% taking the before VAT figure to £900 but charging VAT on the full £1000, giving rise to a £200 VAT addition and bringing the total cost to £1100 inc vat.
For VAT registered customers this may not be a massive problem, but may give rise to a VAT query as the vat would be higher than expected on the invoice value. For many DSF members though who are not VAT registered, this just means the final figure paid is higher (and incorrect).
