Hope someone can help me.
I am trying to put some text on a curve and have not got a clue how to do it. I have a craft robo (with optical eye). The lettering is B.A.S.C. to go on the back of a hoody.
Can you help?

What software you using?
In Coreldraw (works with CraftRobo) it's 'fit to path' Do a search for fit to path in your software's help.

The basic robomaster cannot do text along path but it can be done with other software - Coreldraw
Try Inkscape, allows you to fit text along a path and it's a free download.
Here's some more info on Inkscape Click Here

The Craft ROBO has an upgraded software called DesignMaster which allows you to bend text to a line etc. I think it is around £30 +vat and does a lot more than this. Might be a worthwhile investment.
I would invest in corel 12 or try to download it for free from corel web site. it will be trial only but enough to do this job :)

Or another suggestion. Create the file in photoshop and save as a high quality jpg. Import this into the Robo Master Software and use the outline tool (the green box on the top on the right hand side) to outline the jpg.
more time counsuming but no spending money :)

thanks for all the advice. I have the craftrobo software so will have to give it a try.
I don't have to do curved lettering too often but it is sooooooo annoying when I am asked and I always spend ages trying to do it and then give up.
I end up placing the individual letters in a curve using a cardboard template which seems to work but would be so much easier to just cut and stick - so to speak!!!
