I recommend everybody to visit Polish (or German) Baltic coast in the summer. It's beautiful. But it's impossible to convince even one English person to spent his/her holidays there.

True! Great there. Very good climate there. But why you recon is imossible to convince english person ??? I have plenty english friends that visited poland and they loved it!!!!! :-)

I went back in 2002 - loved it. Overwhelmed by Warsaw but got out of there and did Krakow, Zakopane, Birkenau, Lublin and little stop offs in between.
I keep saying I want to go to Krakow in winter time but my passport ran out in June - so need to sort that one first (disgusted that it will cost me €80 more than a standard UK passport for a renewal in Ireland & I have to get to Dublin - can't be done by post).

Yes, very strange place to visit, it's difficult to explain how it makes you feel & I wasn't going with any pre conceptions, and we went to see some incredible salt mines as well - think it was around there but not sure.

Another beauty in poland. Wieliczka. Salt mine. Made of salt. :-) i never been there myself but iam planing to go there next time .
