    Toying with a laminator

Has anyone had any dealings with laminators? what should i be looking for when looking at them? is cold better than hot?
are the Chinese ones any use (i realize that they wont be as good but will they do as a starter or should they be poked with a stick)
how does this look for the money? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-63-Electro...ht_2118wt_1165

    Re: Toying with a laminator

A friend of mine has one of these machines, a laminator to me completely seals the sheet around the edges and has a sheet back and front, making it watertight. This machine applies pressure to give a bubble free sheet on top of printed sheet, (basically clear stickyback vinyl), he uses it to apply uv sheeting to outdoor signs etc, but it does not give sealed edges etc. Hope that helps you a bit.

Id steer well clear of that ebayer firstly he states he is not responsable for damage during transit ..... he is
also you will also have to pay the import tax etc
and look at his feed back ....
