    Vinyl not sticking

I am new to this but how long do you press vinyl for.
I have tried my first attempt at 20 seconds then 30, 40, 60 ,60 but each time the vinyl seams to lift and stick could it be the type of tee poly or cotton but i thought i doent matter with vinyl?

Also, if you're using a cold peel and peeling whilst hot, that will remove the vinyl...

What make of vinyl are you using ??

entirely depends on the type of vinyl....unless you know what you are using and the required temp, pressure, time and hot or cold peel you'll be making mistake after mistake.

Bin it and buy some new, problem solved, as long as the heat press is working properly.

Excellent point. You should check the temperature of your press with an infrared thermometer. It may well be telling you porkies as to what temperature it is really at.

Could be a bit of a waste of time really Scott unless plugy knows just what vinyl is being used.
