    Facebook business account .

In Germany it is the law that you have to show on your web site all your business details and T&C ( AGB and Impressum) . Ive just found out that is also applicable to any Facebook business page as well.
Not sure if this is the same in England but thought Id post this to alert you of the situation.

The reason behind it is clear, it stops the tax dodgers from getting away with it. The tax office have people searching the web for people who dont declare themselves.

I believe that all businesses now have to declare on their website all contact details and terms and conditions im not 100% certain but i think this applies to facebook business also as this constitutes a business website though i see plenty that dont adhere to this

It was a customer that told me about the Facebook thing. Most people here wont buy from a website that hasnt got their info on it, they find it untrustworthy.
There is an App somewhere in the Facebook system for T&C etc.

I understood that T+C, address etc must be made clear at a point of sale, my Facebook business page does not actually enter into a sale contract, hence no T+C's, address is there though. Can you actually sell on facebook ie take money?

I look on facebook as an interactive business card.

I have a business facebook page.. and have my shop linked on there via an app that my site providers use.. so can make sales.. so technically should have all those details on the page.. even though they are on my website !!

I do not sell via Facebook, I dont think its possible. But I use it to advertise myself. Regardless , its a business page, even if its linked to your business website, we must have the T&C and all our details available to our customers on our FB page. The German link is on the Yourfans page , under the Impressum tab there is a free download app. Maybe it comes in English when you look in the UK.

Thank you for drawing my attention to it.

there are people who sell via their facebook page by having their photo album have all the article details on and then paypal details, facebook are cutting down on this, as they loose revenue - i know about 8 "business pages" who do this at the moment

You can have a shop on Facebook, it has been discussed on here, don't know anyone who has had much success though.
