    Printed Towels for Sports Club?

    Hi guys

We've been asked to produce 500 to 750 printed/embroidered towels for members of a sports club.

Embroidery on that scale is out of the question for us especially as the price per unit needs to be quite low.

So what are the options to consider? The towels are the small variety, the ones sports people use to wipe their hands/face - probably a little larger than the beer towels on bar tops :)

Any ideas would be gratefully received.

Well if polyester towels maybe you can convert them to dye sublimation from embroidery?

For that sort of quantity you have to charge around 35 to 40p per 1000 stitches. If youve got nothing else to do then maybe take the job. If you are busy then maybe farm the job out to a trade embroidery firm.
It will take up too much of your valuable time when you can be doing more profitable work. Just my thoughts.
Or you could get Angie to work the night shift :-)...

I got a quote for 1000 items about 8 months ago and it was about 15p per 1000 stitches. If I could remember the name I would pass it on...!!! However I seem to think there is a huge embroidery firm in the Luton area that are about that price. Google maybe your friend in finding them!

FOR LARGE SIMPLE JOBS - We usually get charged a 'hoop' cost - usually about 65p per item....what can you source towels for, and add your margin.
look for commercial embroidery - the service can be quite slow.....
