one of the biggest problems is that people here want them sometimes for bigger dogs than the states, ie staffies, i did suggest to a small garment company here that they include dog t's in their range and they asked for patterns, so i suggested they bought some and copied them, but they said they would only look at it if i bought them in the samples, when i asked if that would mean they would only make them for me, they said no they would make them for anyone - go figure

I've just googled dog jacket patterns and you can get them for free online!! You would think the garment company would do that too!!!!

I've done loads of dress-making in the past....what kind of material do you think would be best?! I'm going to give it a go...just as a trial, so that we can see if it's something that's viable for a small garment company to take on. (of course it will be, but need to make the point clear enough to them....too many possibilities for this to not make it viable)

exactly, my point fairy d, it will be viable, i would use cotton or adapt to start with an existing hoodie/ tshirt, ie split it open and see how much needs altering, perhaps on a "second" if you have such a thing - from the posts by viccar about what to do with the misprints lol
