Best/Most appropriate software for designing my mugs!

    Hi Everybody,

As I get ever closer to buying my mug pres kit I was wondering which grafix package people generally use?
At the minute I am looking at the latest offerings from Corel and photoshop (elements)

Is their anything that one package does better than the other?

I will be primarily making mug templates with 'fancy' fonts/lettering and including pictures(graphic and photo)

As clients will be sending pictures in I will need to be able to 'enhance' these as required

    Many thanks

    Chris

for enhancing i recommend adobe. Both packages would do the job but the are different.

Can you tell what printer you going to use?

If you going to use ricoh and its powerdriver then your choice is much, much wider! Powerdriver can print out of anything! so whatever is comfortable for you to use can be used :)

corel is vector graphic software and photoshop is raster graphic software. so is like comparing apples to pears :)
both are good but photoshop better for the job in my opinion.

if you planing to do some cutting in future then corel is your mate. as it can do both :)
