Faulty rollers?
A screw came lose on our cutter once, meant the handle didn't lower the rollers. Had to take the whole thing apart.
If you lose the 'tack' on the carrier sheet, which grips the vinyl to the sheet, you need to spray the carrier with a little mounting spray.
edit: the carrier sheet should last quite some time, without the need to be replaced.

Evennig, i am tonight using my 12x24 mat for the first time, i have had a order for 30 hen do t-shirts (oh they are cheeky) and i needed to cut front and back full text across the t-shirt, anyway ive nearly finished the whole cut and i have not had a single issue with slipping or anything, very happy chappy!
The slipping refered to is when the vinyl is used without the carrier sheet.
Is that recommended? It sounds like it's way less durable. The slipping refered to is when the vinyl is used without the carrier sheet.
