Does anyone know where I can source bone china mugs for sublimation? The only ones I see are twee and quite old fashioned in shape - doesn't go with my designs! Or -is it possible to buy bone china and apply the RN coating myself?

Most suppliers seem to stock a very similar shape. There are not many other options off the shelf but you can get a Durham version as well as Marlborough and Balmoral. There is the option of coating a standard blank but can be complicated.
Raja can do custom moulds and production, depending on what quantities your'e wanting produced.
I have heard of one of those - Marlborough, I think. Where would I see these shapes to know what they are like - the simpler the better? I suspected the coating would be complicated - and I am limited with space
I'm not "big" enough for my own production line - I wish! Shall remember that name though thanks.
Listawoods do a bone china mug called the Windsor, quite elegant and looks easy enough to sub. You get 10% discount if you are a premium member of the DSF so your first order could potentially get you free membership!
As well as the Windsor (bone china), Listawoods also do a "fine china" one with straight sides - think it's called Can - but too lazy to look it up. They are a mite wider and not strictly bone china but I like them!

It seems Listawoods only do printed mugs - I couldn't find any blanks. However I have sourced some bone china mugs from DSS - a small batch is on it's way for me to try. Thanks to everyone with their suggestions
