I don't know whether to buy a a3 durabrite inkjet or an a3 laser, if I get the laser I can just back up with white screen print ink (for darks) or I and wont need a special white laser. It's down to washability and longevity really.

Hi GoldraptI can just back up with white screen print ink
I could see that being a bit tricky and have you tested laser toner's reaction to a transfer screen ink, plus you would have to make an individual screen for each garment you produce.
Not if you plan print only squere A4 :)

No you would not. If you want to create A4 dark transfers then any laser printer can create them using something along the lines of OBM from the magic touch. You only require a white printer if you want no weed dark transfers and bespoke shapes (i.e. logo's etc). Running them out and then backing with white will probably cost more than these sheets if you factor in time and the specialist paper and ink you will require.I have the screen print equipment, I would need to buy a dedicated white oki printer........
Cheers Simon, but any laser printer will give me a picture without white, so I presume that any white only laser will be good for backing up dark transfers from my oki5600?No you would not. I may be wrong here, but check out the video on the link. Is this what you are trying to achieve?
