Help Please .. some of the vinyl letters are not 'sticking to the fabric!!

Works fine when i add the print to a mixed blend socks ( cotton/polyester ) yet sometimes when trying to add the vinyl text to cotton t shirts, vests etc ( 100% cotton items ) some of the letters are not 'sticking' to the garments!! Have tried pressing for longer

tbh im hoping its just that i need to try a different vinyl ... using some of ebay atm hot peel stuff

    thanks

Do you pre-press the shirts for 10 seconds prior to applying the vinyl lettering

    Longer time maybe too,
then try other stuff like MDP, who I find sell a great vinyl, so do xpres and TMT and others.

Heavier pressure. I had a similar problem initially but once I spoke to my supplier they said 'what you consider to be strong pressure is more than likely medium so raise the pressure and see how it goes'. I did and no more peeling. Job jobbed.

i also think we are missing the no 1 lesson here, PRESS AFTER FOR 5-10 SECONDS, once you remove the plastic backing you will need a teflon sheet or maybe greaseproof paper might do, then press,
    this should answer your issues.

I know it sounds daft.. but I would be concerned they hadn't sent cold peel by mistake.. maybe check a couple of letters on an old piece of material ??

Ebay vinyl, ebay heat press? Socks= small print area, t-shirt= large print area. Check your press for cold spots too, maybe you are getting uneven temperature distribution.
