It's been worth every penny, we was operating from a unit in an old mill before moving in, sales from Sept-Jan have increased around 70-80% from previous years, a little stressful over Christmas but will be taking on next year.
looks like good amount of work been done there! well done! hope to show something soon by my self :)

I love how fresh it looks.. and so uncluttered..
Fantastic with where it has come from.. and you should be extremely proud of it :)
Behind every great man.. is a surprised mother in law..
looks great! and your website is good too!
can I ask, did you set up opencart yourself? - I'm trying to set mine up but it's quite time consuming!!
Got to admit to being jealous. Having our own shop is something we keep mulling over - seeing how much better our products sell from our stockists, compared to our online sales and from a market stall, that we know in the long run it should do us well, it's just making the jump, and deciding where in our locality will be best!
Love being in the shop and as I said so far it has proven to be worth it, whilst we were in the mill around 90-95% of business was from on line sales, now it's around 60% online and 40% walk-ins. It was good to see it take shape as it has been empty for 10 years (raided as a canabis farm) 6 years ago so has been boarded up since then. We got the Keys on the 3rd of June and it was worked on 6 days a week until September when it was finally ready. The locals are overjoyed not having to look at the eyesore as it was.
It was obviously a big decision to take the jump but the business had been my sole income for over a year before we opened the shop so it seemed the best way to expand and get a presence in the area. Advertising we have done very little, a small paid add in the yellow pages, and we sponsor our local football team so get weekly exposure to 2000-3500 through that, (very cost effective advertisement)
Regarding the website, it was uploaded to the servers for us and I did everything else. Very time consuming and I have so many plans to improve it, but have so many other things that keep jumping the priority list of things to do.
Thanks for all the positive comments:)
