Hi
I am trying to find plain glass chopping board /worktop savers with little joy, plenty of chinchilla effect ones but I have a customer who wants plain glass. Anyone any idea of who might stock these... ideally 30cm x 40cm.
Thanks
Kev

We've looked a few times over the years, and gave up looking in the end. Would love to find some too if they're available anywhere!
The customer actually wants it as a sink spashback, so just coated tempered plain glass would be fine, just cant seem to find any...

use your local glass merchant for splash backs.
years ago i had a job working for the 1st glass worktop savers company, and one of my showstoppers was to drop the glass onto the floor - where of course it would not shatter (if dropped properly) one day i took the big big boss out with me for an important sale with the John Lewis Partnership, eager to show off how good they were, the big boss took the sample and threw it onto the floor where upon it shattered into millions of tiny pieces, we always dropped them flat onto the floor - he dropped it end onto the floor - and it was a stone floor of a very old pub where we were having lunch. i shreaked in horror and explained to the buyer, that i had only just earlier in the day noticed a slight flaw in that one and had put it to one side on the seat of my car for re-checking by the factory - big boss then said i should have clearly marked the box so, and we carried on and secured the order. i got my little big boss, to explain to the big big boss, that the problem was with him dropping it on its end on a stone floor, and that there was nothing in fact wrong with the one he used - i got flowers and choccies delivered to me from said big man. always makes me smile - OMG the noise was like a bomb going off

I used to demonstate the same thing with glass coasters on the stone/brick/cobbled floor at Greenwich Market - the customers were horrified I was going to even try, but they wouldn't believe that they wouldn't break!
DHL did manage to smash about 50 of them in a load of 100 that I shipped last Christmas time though!
There is one specialist company that does this and they print onto smooth finish glass with Sublimation and then afterwards back the image with a special is white film. This product isn't available to buy as an unprinted blank but if the glass is large enough or volumes sufficient then they may be interested in printing for you. When we have had this done the splash backs are about the width of a double hob and about 2 feet tall. They also do pieces sufficient for an entire stand up shower cubicle so you can imagine the range of sizes they can bespoke print. They use a large format printer and a huge 'home made' flat bed press!
