This will be an easy one for someone!

Sorry if this has been asked many times before which I guess it has! ( I did search but not a 100% answer)
My mug press has been working fine for what I have been doing - which is small picture with text but tonight I wanted a new mug for work but it turned out with strips over it,
Setting have not been changed and I did a few mugs after with no problems but this one went AWOL
Did it over cook or a pressure issue (I know all mugs can differ in size a little)
Setting I have been using without a problem on text is 380 @ 120 minutes

Sorry for the cr@p picture, taken on my phone....

the lines are caused by the heat element in the blanket maybe too much pressure or possibly the blanket needs replacing

The blanket was my first thought but after doing a few more they were fine, thats why im thinking the mugs could be a tiny bit different!

Yes 380 degrees but 120 seconds

It seems to be the dark colours it is happening to but not all the time!
I'll try knocking the pressure down a little when i get back.

Id look at the pressure and perhaps fiddle with times a little, it doesnt look over cooked but its difficult to say with that picture i would hazzzard a guess that if looked very carefully at the light colours you will find the same lines they are just not as prominent as on the darker colours

    [QUOTE=scotty44;89371]Yes 380 degrees but 120 seconds

    But, F or C degrees?
We use 200 degrees C for 200 seconds on our presses for ceramic mugs.

Sorry pispuee, Fahrenheit .... tried dropping it to 360 for 160 and still the same so after more searching I checked the mugs....
Out the box I found one way bigger than the rest so looked a bit closer,
    A few pictures....

    Happening more at the bottom...

2 mugs touching each other! every one I tried stuck out more at the bottom,
I tried a mug in the opposite way around to how I normally put them in the press and still the same,
So I'm thinking now try some new mugs from elsewhere?
