We used to use Epsons when we printed 3 mugs per A4 sheet but it’s so much easier printing mug sized sheets.

I am with you though on Sawgrass/Ricoh not printing edge to edge. We cut paper slightly larger for full top to bottom prints but it’s a lot of hassle for sure.
    Hi Gazfocus

Mine are just wee wee ecotank 1810. The key is to get the right paper (ink experts versa)

We use srace paper. Have tried trupix, texprint, ink experts standard (not sure what it was called), and a couple of others and found srace the best.

I might be tempted to try the ink experts versa but my main concern with buying an ‘own brand’ is if they are out of stock (like they are of their a4-a3+ versa paper at the moment), you’re pretty much snookered.

Yes, very happy with printer. Still running it along side the SG400's at the moment. With regard paper then yes srace for the new printer until I can get an ICC profile made for it using the even better A-Sub mug paper. Also trying to push the new printer to print closer to the paper edge but we can do full top to bottom print on 10oz's which are the mugs we use.

Which a-sub paper do you use? That’s one I’ve not tried so might give that a go at some point.

Any further updates on this printer please? Are you still happy with it?

Have you been able to use alternative ink carts with it? (£135 a set I too much for me - I know ink experts do refill).

Looks good, out of interest, were your purples set to be that colour or were they punchier on screen, only reason I ask is because I'm trying to sublimate a purple and aqua blue. With an Epson F100, and they're coming out awful... top being the sublimated print, bottom being the one screen colours.

Print out was exactly what we saw on screen. We stayed away from F100 for that reason based on feedback from others and I believe you cannot use a custom ICC either.
