Pressing text onto poker chip edges?

I'm using a geo knight swing heat press to press edges of some ceramic poker chips my company is looking to sell - it's similar to the mug press but it's more like a longer version of this: http://www.heatpress.com/product.php?pn=19

I'm trying to see if anyone else has used this press for poker chip edges specifically and if so, do you have any pictures or examples I can take a look at?

We'd like to align text on the edges of the poker chips and we've seen other companies that can do it but our press seems to shift the poker chips a bit when we clamp the press down, causing the text to shift as well. We're going to talk to someone who may be able to add in metal plates on either end of the bottom press so that the chips are held in place and that may help, but I'm wondering if anyone else out there has any tips or tricks for me? :) I use a lot of heat tape but that doesn't like to hold things in place and much as I'd like it to!

I've added in some pictures of what I'm talking about - everything else is fine, the colors come out alright and while the press is a bit..misaligned, it's not so big of an issue as much as the text is.
