Can you advise what size mug is used, recently purchased some '[smashproof boxes' from another retailer listed as suitable for 10 and 11oz mugs and the 11oz rattles around in side and needs padding with paper or bubble wrap.

The one in the shoot is an 11Oz mug, there is a little 'wiggle' room which i think you can just hear when i pick up the mug from the floor and give it a shake. These boxes are tough enough that even with that bit of wiggle room, there is no need to extra padding. If you want to add a layer of bubble wrap around just to protect further then that's great, but its not necessary.
