Aside from giving up (we ditched cork placemats years ago) then you need to press them upside down for a good 30 seconds firstly (cork side up) then turn over to press properly. We then have a couple of book nipping presses where we place them on individual cardboard sheets for 24 hours.

I also bought a load of golf bag tags from someone else here and haven’t touched those either.
Could the warping you are both having be due to the bad weather of late?

It's certainly cold, and it isn't a problem I remember previously having to solve.
Looking at this thread we bought 160, and have 40 left, so have made/sold around 100 with no complaints previously.
I can repress them flat in the press, but after time of cooling (either leaving them to cool under pressure, or just on a workbench they re-warp back to how they were.
Have tried heating them under pressure in the heat press, no pressure on the teppanyakki grill we use for mug warming, or resting on top of an electric radiator, so the warped sides are in the air, and the mat is being heating in the middle.
Running out of ideas, and have two orders of multiples I'm going to have to refund.
We don't do many placemats, but now have two orders I don't want to have to cancel if I don't have to, and think it may be better to buy in an alternative type of placemat instead of cork backed - what are people using now, what works ell etc?
Faux leather mousepads print nice and flat and would work as a placemat.

Thanks ... definitely needs to be hard/solid rather than fabric.
Do the unisub have any warping issues, or cab you just print them and they're fine?
Do they have to have cork backs? We're working with a thicker material that should eleviate warping. We can supply cork backing but cost tends to escalate.

Whilst this a genius idea it saddens me that you should have to resort to using such equipment due to what really is poor quality products.
