    Etsy? Is it still viable?

I have been away from things for a while, hence the question. Does Etsy still cut the mustard if your offerings are good?

Failing that is there a new kid in town?

I am so far behind I still think of Amazon as a rainforest :)

I left Etsy and eBay a long time ago now.
although the orders were always coming in I was looking at the bill each month and thinking what am I paying for?

they all took such a chunk of the profit I closed it all down and just went through my own website.

I spent a long time on my seo and product descriptions and it paid off.
sadly my other work took over and now I don't even sublimate any longer.

I still have my printer and presses as well as a lot of stock but for now I just don’t have the time.

would I go back to Etsy ?? No probably not.
my website is mine and hosting is cheap as chips the only fees I pay are payment processing which is stripe. (Pretty cheap)

If you have a suitable product (as opposed to selling custom printed goods) Vinted is OK. We are taking a worthwhile amount of extra money most weeks on odds and ends.
No seller fees, the customer pays for postage. The onbly downside is that you don't get paid until the about three days after goods are delivered(or when the customer confirms that the goods are satisfactory, if that is sooner). Don't be tempted to register as a business seller - the payment delay increases to 14 days.
